Spikey Claws
Nothing is more annoying than swapping tools around when trying to break blocks, and the suddenly having to fight incoming mobs.
Combining some Spikes allows you to break almost all soft materials very quickly. At the same time, any mobs that come creeping by can also be attacked with sufficient power.
